..And we're feeling pretty tense, we have so much work to do.





To be precise we feel like this. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

We are yet to put in any transitions or extra effects, we started putting in some solarisation which makes it look like a PROPER RAVE and also some posterising which disguises the green screen a little more, but this just isn't enough for our "RAINBOW-GASM". We need to make it more out there I don't quite know how yet but we will. We will send out evil psyco little dolls with axes if we don't get it done, in the spirit of halloween.

Problems we have had with editing

We have discovered when many of our shoots are shown on a larger screen traces of green can still be seen,we are trying to tackle this problem at the moment.Its rather anoying!

some very good shots and editing, the colour changes work well, the idea of splitting tthe bodies looks like its coming on well.
The lip syncing needs a little bit of work because sometimes it is a bit out of time, overall its looking good.
Well done.

Our second attemp to contact the band was indeed successful,Francesca messaged the band over myspace and received a reply soon after.
This is what they said....

Hi Guys!

Thanks for picking our song for your project.

I have to be quick, unfortunately, but here are somequickthoughts:

It's the first song we wrote together
It used to have different lyrics and melody
Now it is based on a roller skating movie erika saw
and also loosely about following your dreams

I think the video is up for interpretation, I guess just no murder scenes are the only thing I can think up!

Today

Today we have began to put together all of our footage which includes all of the diffferent parts of body. We also filmed some of the lip syncing roughly for our "rough cut". We used girls to sing becasue obviously it's a girl singer in the background!!




Now we have seen how it looks when we put all the body pieces together, we will try out different things with conjointing parts. eg. dropping something from the middle section into the bottoms section and it being something else. We are still yet to film the objects it will be vital for our final cut because other wise it will be samey. It will successfully separate the scene.


On the plus side a member of group 28 got naked for us temporarily. He is now our team mascot. sorry ricky we've replaced you!! xxxx

Filming!!!

We have started filming all of our different bodies, legs and faces. It has been a big success with a range of colourful outfits and different people. We are starting to worry that it will become to samey but will separate our video up so it won't all be given away at the beginning.We are yet to film the lip syncing but will be doing so tomorrow. We also need to film the scenes which will not be in the green room and the instrument closeups.

We still have not heard from the band, which is dissapointing.
